Hällerum Trä
Hällerum Trä AB is today a modern sawmill, located abt 15 km south-east of Vimmerby. The company employ abt 20 skilled and liable employees.
The log-supply comes primarily from private forest owners, within a radius of 25 km from the sawmill. In our planingmill we plane abt 65 % of the total production.
We have also fascilities for bundling and cutting to length.
Abt 70 % of the production is exported, mainly to England, Denmark, Germany, Norway, France, North Africa and other Mediterranean countries. On the domestic market, we supply the buildning material trade, buildning firms, as well as packaging industries.
In august 2007 the company was bought by Frödinge Sågverk.
